Throwback Friday – Grace in Motion

This week’s throwback takes us to Lake Seminole Park, FL.

The time? December 2007.

It was a spectacular week day, Elizabeth and I took the girls (then only Grace and Trinity) to Lake Seminole, one of our favorite spots. On top of an awesome playground where the kids spend hours climbing, swinging and sliding, the county park features a grassy hill that’s a ton of fun on its own.

I remember watching Grace run down that will until she broke into a huge sweat… LOL

Since I’m not a big fan of large crowds anymore, specially with 4 young elusive children running around, week day outings suit me best. There’s hardly anyone around compared to weekends. Lake Seminole, Wiregrass and Weedon Island offered peaceful scenery we all miss tremendously since moving to Brooksville, a small rural town about 1 hour north of Tampa.

At the Aquarium, Children’s Museum, the Tampa Zoo, MOSI and Disney, for example, we use our annual passes during the week and save on parking too!
