Case Study – Riverford PPC Campaign

riverford-ppc-case-study

Riverford began as a small organic farm based in the UK. By early 2010, Riverford had created a network of farms across the UK and was delivering 45,500 organic vegetable, meat and dairy boxes weekly to 60,000 households nationwide.

To improve conversion from PPC, a new Riverford campaign microsite was produced. When prospects wanted to place an order, they were diverted to the main Riverford site on the “place new order page.”

To maximize ROI, the Riverford keyword portfolio was expanded upon and built up which was also implemented through their Yahoo! and Bing accounts, ensuring that Riverford was represented across all the networks.

The results?

The client was receiving approximately 150 sales via PPC every month before the update above, and over 200 a month within one month afterwards, a 70% increase.

So, when done right, I invite you consider PPC as a reliable source of traffic and/or revenue… :)
