20,000 Reasons Why You Should NOT Hire An Infusionsoft Certified Consultant

One of the worst Internet Marketing horror stories I ever witnessed happened via InfusionSoft, and involved one of their InfusionSoft Certified Consultants. While I have more stories than I can count about the application dubbed CONfusionSoft, this post about InfusionSoft Certified Consultant Grant James and Infuzy takes First Prize!

An established InfusionSoft consultant and implementation expert since 2008, for years I kept receiving email SPAM offers from InfusionSoft inviting me to join their $2,500.00 InfusionSoft Certified Consulting program. As a rule, I don’t engage in paid certification programs, understanding they’re often a misleading message to prospects. My experience has shown a clear pattern of certifications that are more of a “membership” than actual qualification.

Recently, during initial conversations with potential clients, a few prospects inquired if I was a “certified InfusionSoft consultant?”

Well, I’m not. There. So, if you’re looking for a certified con artist, you can go ahead and find one Here.

I’m not certified, but according past and current InfusionSoft clients, I am quite the InfusionSoft Consultant & Implementation Expert. More importantly, unlike most sweet talkers, I produce results, not excuses!

In a nutshell, I have over 8 years experience developing InfusionSoft campaigns and manipulating the InfusionSoft API. Using InfusionSoft, I can easily turn a $27 Private Label purchase into $20K profit, literally overnight! Call it luck, but no one can deny it… not even Dr. Morrison! Keep reading, it’ll make sense in a minute… ;)

Though I do not have InfusionSoft certification, I do have are a few, faith driven satisfied IFS customers. Feel free to ask me for references anytime.

Does certification matter? Well yes! It should! It has to, right?

Before you Hire an InfusionSoft Certified Consultant, you should strongly consider reading the InfusionSoft Certified Consultant horror story below, which I predicted long before the Rip-Off report herein was ever written…

How Do Infusionsoft Certified Consultants Perform?

Are you curious to find out how well InfusionSoft Certified Constants perform? I am too, considering I’ve yet to hear about, or witness a single positive story to date.

This is the horror story of a former client/employer of mine, who fired me to hire Grant James and Nicholas Grant of Infuzy, at the advice of a member of InfusionSoft sales department…

See it to Believe it:

Who Is Infuzy?

No one knows. After the incident above, they’ve seemingly vanished! As for the company, since their web site at Infuzy.com was flagged for malware, I won’t even link to it for fear of Google plaguing me for association alone.

Since images are worth a thousand words, I report, you decide…

My Advice?

Do your homework.

While I’m certainly not perfect, and am humble enough to consider myself no “better man” than anyone mentioned herein, as all fall short of the glory of God, I  deliver measurable results, not excuses. Unlike most InfusionSoft experts, I am a servant of the Lord, grateful to serve Him through people like you.

  1. Daniel,

Thanks for taking the time to discuss the value of the Infusionsoft Certified Consultants program. Our certification program is a membership program. Consultants are experts on our software, services and processes. They are certified. We invest a lot into consultants before we help our users succeed. For clarification, Infuzy, is currently an Infusionsoft Certified Consultant.

Please let me know if I can add any further clarity to this situation.

    1. Cindy,
Thank you for your input, and for confirming InfusionSoft Certified Consultants are experts indeed… Experts at defrauding hard working customers!

How do-I know this for certain? I witnessed it first hand. Plus, since 2008, I placed more calls to InfusionSoft support than I can keep track of, too often reporting Infusionsoft errors, at MY expense.

I have documented proof of numerous InfusionSoft issues, which I gladly make available to prospects when evaluating CRM solutions, including Blackbaud, the rising star in constituent management.

Is this how you attempt to control damage to your struggling reputation?

  2. Great post Daniel!!! I’ve not found a single InfusionSoft Certified consultant to date that even came close to being honest. Every single one were certified jerks who told me exactly what I wanted to hear, that with their help my InfusionSoft application would make me rich but only if I hired them, and not the other crooks within the IFS Certification program. Each conversation is identical… Pay us $$$ and we’ll setup your InfusionSoft application for you and do all the work while you go on vacation and live the great life. All LIES!!! NO work work was ever done, I received emails informing me of delay aster delay until eventually, my budget was exhausted… What a bunch of baloney! Daniel, you may not be certified, but one thing I really appreciate about you is the time and energy you invested in my business before I paid you a single penny. No one else even came close to sharing any kind of insight during initial conversations, only promises not kept. I sincerely hope anyone looking for InfusionSoft help will trust a man of God, rather than waste their budget and time on Certified jerks!

    1. Gillian,
I’m glad I could help, and provide a professional & honest service. On the flip side, I’m not the least bit surprised you have a horrible experiences with InfusionSoft certified consultants who seem to focus more on volume, than quality. As you know, I am driven by faith and strive to serve our Lord through each project or client… I do look forward to working with you again soon!

  3. Thank you for all you have done and uncovered what I felt in my gut. Was at a 3 day seminar and all of a sudden this guy (who is allegedly famous-somewhere) comes on and push push pushes this software that will “change your life”. My gut just felt something wasn’t right. I was here for a sales training seminar not to be sold some widgets. Needless to say, he pitched this infusion soft and clearly did not do his homework as this happened in Canada and we have VERY different laws on spamming and data collecting. When I spoke up about it, I was immediately shut down. gut feeling #2. So, on break, with the help of my wee techno gadget and the Internet….voila! My gut was right, but your blog summed it up the clearest and most poignant way, thank you for that. For you to make and take that time to help others and educate them is invaluable. Keep doing what you’re doing…making the world a better place!

    1. Tannas, I’m glad you enjoyed my post. What part of Canada are you in? Perhaps you didn’t know, but I’m Canadian now living the American dream from our homestead in Florida where I feel truly blessed to be a blessing, via InfusionSoft and other internet marketing services we provide at Cybergenica and Glorious Media. Look us up sometime!

  4. Do you do infusion soft consulting? My assistant who has been with me for 3 years and who is the expert at infusion soft just had a family emergency and had to quit. I need someone to ask question to and to do things for me. Do you do this? How much? Thanks Glenda Feile

  5. Thank you for this post Daniel. At Web Solutions, we are new to Infusionsoft having purchased the application earlier this year, and we already have horror stories of our own involving “certified Infusionsoft consultants” just as you mentioned in your article. We assumed they were trustworthy because they were certified by Infusionsoft, but quickly realized most proved to be rude and pushy, and worse, every single one was either an atheist or not comfortable discussing spirituality. I am glad for your mission and will be reaching out by email shortly in hope you can help us get the most of our Infusionsoft application.

  6. Yep. Spot on. I just lost nearly $2000 with Automate and Grow… All the usual BS during our first call. Took payment up front of nearly $2000, missed at least 2 scheduled calls, showed up 30 minutes late for the one he finally did show up for AND didn’t do a single thing on our time-critical campaign. I’m usually a tolerant person and avoid discrediting someone else’s business but Steve H is someone to stay away from. Admittedly, it was my lack of due diligence and enthusiasm to get things started that led to the upfront payment so I take full responsibility. We have now commenced legal proceedings.

    1. Dillon, I’m sorry to hear about your horror story with yet another Certified Infusionsoft Consultant. I assure you, the application itself (Infusionsoft) is top notch, but as you found out, Certified Infusionsoft Consultants are not necessarily well intended or knowledgeable. Few have your business’ success as their focus, while many run fly by night endeavors that change names when too many complaints rise up online… :(

  7. Dear Daniel – I’m sorry you have had this experience with Infusionsoft Certified Consultants; I feel it’s unfortunate that you and so many other like me have fallen to such blood suckers. I know full well there are some less than desirable pie-in-the-sky, promise you anything consultants out there, and you are a breath of fresh air. In sum, I agree with you most Infusionsoft Certified Consultants are indeed bad apples.

    1. Hi Darren, I appreciate your comment, and that you called me “a breath of fresh air…” I sense many InfusionSoft certified consultants would disagree with you after reading my post… LOL

  8. To date, I have found that although the application is simply extraordinary, you are 100% correct to describe ALL Infusionsoft consultants are frauds who are not only thriving in their secular endeavors to extort large sums of money from trusting customers, but IMO Infusionsoft consultants are pure EVIL!!!! God is watching them, and His wrath will be upon them and each one who hires them after reading this post. #WellDoneDaniel

    1. Thanks Glenn! I would not say that ALL Infusionsoft consultants are frauds, I would simply testify that I’ve never met one that wasn’t a complete fraud… Every single Infusionsoft consultant I know is driven by one thing: MONEY! I serve the risen Savior first and foremost, and through Him and by His will, I am blessed to prosper for His glory.

  9. Daniel,
Thank you for your boldness to expose InfusionSoft vipers for who the are, blood thirsty secular thieves. I found your blog when conducting a search on Google, am have already reached out to you by email. If you will allow me, I plan on documenting my experience with you, and Cybergenica as we move forward numerous projects I have as a small business owner.
