What Are Proxies and Why You Need Them

What Are Proxies? While shopping and banking online have become as safe as it gets, and insured, experts agree surfing the web non-anonymously has become unsafe.

Did you know each computer/mobile device surfing the web has a unique “IP address” and each device also has unique identifiable MAC address?

That’s right!

Every second you’re online, you’re being tracked!

But, there’s a solution! Surfing the web with a “paid” private proxy not only allows for anonymity but prevents web sites you visit from collecting data about your location. Essentially, by using proxies you will also benefit from geographically restricted content otherwise not available to US based IP addresses.

Since Google and other search engines now rely on your IP address to provide you with more accurate “local” results, without proxies it’s become impossible for marketing professionals like myself to accurately collect geographically sound data.

With this in mind it makes sense to buy a set of 10 private proxies and switch every couple weeks, and it only takes 30 seconds to setup and manage each time you switch proxy.

How To Switch Your Proxy In 30 Seconds Or Less

Open your browser, like Firefox or Chrome, and in the settings or options menu you’ll find the option to manage proxies. It’s embedded in every single web browser for a reason!!!

Replace existing proxy if any (initially proxies are assigned automatically by your ISP) using the new proxy IP (eg. 29.102.30.51) and port number (eg. 8080) et voila!

Apply and close, you’re done! To the entire world wide web you are now some guy in Bamberg, Germany. Or possibly you care to surf the web from Italy? The sky is the limit!

Well actually soon you’ll be able to buy proxies from the space station and pretend you’re surfing the web from BEYOND the sky!!! That’s another email though… ;)

Private proxies (or even public ones) are safe and used by all branches of government. It’s legal and the wave of the future, soon everyone will use proxies to handle multiple threads on their computers or devices and keep others from knowing where they actually are…

Or did you not know BECAUSE of the data collected from your computer is being computated and shared for analysis by countless organizations, your computer IP tells computers EXACTLY where you are… ALL the time!!!

How Do They Know Exactly Where You Are?

Fill out one form online with your physical address and the damage is done.

The form contains BOTH your actual address as well as….. Your IP address! Without a proxy the 2 are now tied. Someone out there knows that your IP number = A Physical Address. The more forms you fill out, the more likely the information will be shared, tracked and possibly capitalized on.

You can afford proxies, buy some from a this trusted source otherwise call on yours truly for a sweet deal on your very own Private Proxy for under $20 a year…
