Unemployable? Why Not Start Your Own SEO Business?

Earlier today, I had a conversation with a young man who has been out of work for so long, he now deems himself unemployable. Since Paul owns a computer and is connected to the internet, he came up with a brilliant idea: Start His Own SEO Business!

There lies one of the biggest problems with Internet Marketing today. People without a job that speak English and have a computer connected to the Internet = Opportunity!

While there is certainly nothing wrong with endeavoring online, there’s everything wrong with performing a service you are not properly, professionally trained to do.

The result will likely be a complete disaster for both the wanna be SEO guy (or gal) AND more importantly, the client whose business is relying on results, not experiments.

When It Comes To SEO, Longevity Tells The Tail

I have been in business for myself since 1995 producing and marketing digital content, mostly on the web. That’s close to 25 years of trial and error, thousands upon thousands of keywords and key phrases spread throughout the world wide web.

Internet Marketing should not be considered a job for the unemployable. It should be held up as a new age trend based on age old techniques.

You wouldn’t trust your car repairs to a pastry baker armed with a spatula right? Do the right thing, only trust SEO companies that have done their homework… :)
