Showdown at Homestead – Miami Will Never Be The Same

What started out in February will end this November. From Trevor Bayne’s rookie win at Daytona to Jimmie Johnson hitting a wall – literally! It’s been a GREAT season!

Unfortunately, there will be no “six pack” winner this year, instead NASCAR will crown a new champion in Miami on Sunday…

Carl Edwards, 2011 Nascar Sprint Cup Champion Tony Stewart, 2011 Nascar Sprint Cup Champion

Either Stewart or Edwards. Either one will do.

The consensus is, either driver will be a great role model for the sport and beyond. Stewart is my pick, he’s proven to be more than a gifted race car driver. His deeds are many, and God willing, so will be the crowns that adorn his head in heaven where our Father awaits.

This weekend’s showdown in Miami promises to deliver excitement beyond measure. Even if you’re not a NASCAR fan I’m sure there will be something exhilarating for you to enjoy either on TV or in person.

The way I look at it is, any sport that starts out with a prayer to God, and to Christ, well such an outing is alright with me… Let’s go racing boys!
