Case Study: The Great Commission & Sin City

Back in the fall of 2000, I was lost. Raised Catholic, I believed in God, and knew about Jesus, but I was not yet surrendered to God’s plan.

I lived a life filled with sin, filth and I was driven by greed and hungry for power and fame.

Then one day, my work required I fly to Las Vegas through LAX for a conference. I boarded a plane to LA and made my way down the aisle to my assigned window seat, next to a strikingly beautiful woman.

For the next 5 hours, she preached to me, sharing her testimony and telling me about her relationship with Christ.

God knew exactly what it would take to get my attention, a gorgeous, single woman and a mutual attraction.

A few weeks after we met, I accepted Nicole’s invitation to join her at Saddleback Church where I was born again and baptized in the Holy Spirit.

God used an attractive young woman as a vessel for His message, just as He wants to use you to advance His gospel and share His promise for all those who place their trust in Jesus, that whoever believes in the risen Savior will be saved from the wages of sin, which is eternity in Hell.

Believe, and you will be SAVED!
