What is a SERP feature?

A search engine results page (SERP) is the page displayed by a web search engine in response to a query by a user on a search engine like Google, Yahoo, etc.

The main component of the SERP is the listing of results that are returned by search engines in response to a keyword query, although the page may also contain other results such as advertisements.

As search engines continue to customize user experience (UX) to maximize revenue through SERP features, it’s become increasingly clear to business owners and ministry leaders that leveraging these features is key to online success.

Today’s SERP features include rich snippets, images, ratings, tweets and even knowledge data, on top of paid search results from Adwords and Google shops.
