TGIM – Merry Christmas!

While for many this special holiday is focused on presents and decorations, for me, this time of year gives the world the opportunity to celebrate the birth of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

In Bethlehem, Jesus (Yeshua) was born in a manger of a virgin mother. The Savior, the King of kings came to this world in a such a humble way, his deity was rejected by the Jews and continues to be a subject of controversy today.

The truth of the matter is, Christmas has lost its meaning. Once a celebration of the Lord’s birthday, Christmas has become a farce and forgery worldwide.

But, not at the St.Pierre’s.

We bring glory to our Lord’s birthday in a way that’s truly glorifying to the Christ.

How?

We separate Christ’s birthday, a Christian celebration, and the pagan holiday known as Christmas. The first involves worship, fellowship and bible study, the other features decorations and presents. It’s really not that complicated!

My hope is that you will feel led to do the same, and keep both events separate as you strive to glorify the Lord in your life.
