TGIM - Thank God It's Monday!

TGIM – An Organic Harvest

A busy weekend has finally given way to a much appreciated work week at Cybergenica and Glorious Media. While most people work during the week so they can play on weekends, more often than not my weekends are more taxing than weekdays.

For example, this weekend we hit the Howards Flea Market in Homosassa Springs, then played football at church, then Grace had honor guard rehearsal with Civil Air Patrol, then we had movie night on Saturday and on Sunday, we got “cooped-up” when the Coopers came over and hung out with us as Glorious Acres for good food & great fun!

The good news is, it’s MONDAY!!!

While this has nothing to do with Internet Marketing, it is a perfect example of procrastination, the avoidance of completing a task that held utmost importance, if anything, to me wife Elizabeth who spends a ton of time in our kitchen.

Fact: Procrastination Kills!

I’m sure you’re well aware most heart attack deaths could have been avoided through preventive measures. As a matter of fact, something as simple as an infant Aspirin routine is a proven way to prevent heart attacks. But, because people with heart conditions or poor health procrastinate, they end up pushing up daisies, rotting away in a casket…

Speaking of daisies, we’re sprouting a few hundred seeds in our greenhouse and multiple gardens using soil that consists of wood chips, ashes from our fireplace ashes and composted hay, table scraps, duck, turkey, chicken and goat manure. Within a few days of putting seeds in the soil, we already have spinach, zucchini, cucumber, tomato, pepper and herb sprouts.

On top of the germinating seeds, we also have pineapple, celery and green onions in our hydroponic garden.

What’s best about organic gardening is, it can produce a harvest even in the most limited spaces. I recall years ago we grew tomatoes and peppers using a Topsy Turvy, an upside down gardening planter anyone can use. Over the years, our Turvy harvested well over 100 tomatoes & peppers!
