Meet The Newest Member Of Civil Air Patrol…

Grace St.Pierre In Her ABU Civil Air Patrol Uniform

Earlier today I was blessed to snap a few pictures of my daughter Grace in her new Air Force Battle Uniform (ABU).

Grace joined the SER FL 301 squadron of Civil Air Patrol, the US Air Force Auxiliary Unit based at Brooksville–Tampa Bay Regional Airport.

In the months ahead, she’ll be flying planes and gliders, taking various classes and enjoying camp outs throughout Florida, and even taking part in rocketry programs! She will also be a blessing to various organizations who rely on CAP members for help, from parking detail to search and rescue, disaster relief and humanitarian services, just to name a few. With her amazing voice, she might even get to sing the national anthem on a few special occasions…

It’s her goal to thrive as a member of her CAP squadron and eventually join the ROTC program in the Air Force so she can attend college where she’s hoping to major in hospitality business administration, and get a minor in culinary arts.

Then, after she serves as an officer in the Air Force for 4-5 years, Grace wants to buy a food truck and travel the country blessing her customers with healthy variations of all American comfort food. At only 14, she’s already a Florida state fair and Hernando county fair baking champion, and her recipes are published in multiple state fair cook books!

Can you tell I’m a proud father? :P

I give praise to God for His outpouring of love, grace and mercy upon my family and me, and pray He will continue to use us for His glory! #TGBTG
