4 Things I Learned At Today’s InfusionSoft MasterMind Webinar

Christian infusionsoft consultant

If you know me and are familiar with my line of work, than you’re aware I deal with InfusionSoft on a daily basis, in most cases on behalf of clients in the United States, Canada, Europe and even as far as Australia.

Earlier today, I came face to face with a realization that’s likely to come as a shocker to you if you’re in the market for a reliable, user friendly CMS, shopping cart or affiliate application.

What exactly did God reveal to me in a daydream during today’s InfusionSoft Mastermind webinar?

He pointed to 4 specific aspects of InfusionSoft few people, if any, have ever paid close attention to…Until now!

Flaw #1 – InfusionSoft is 3rd party
InfusionSoft is a database driven application whose data resides on their servers in Arizona. All data collected and/or managed on InfusionSoft servers remain the property of InfusionSoft. In plain English that translates into: Your company data belongs to InfusionSoft – Period.

Flaw #2 – InfusionSoft customers pay for extensive training and setup
Don’t listen to anyone other than InfusionSoft themselves. Give them a call and ask them a very simple question: Will I require training to use Infusionsoft? The answer is yes, of course you’ll need to be trained, after all, all new InfusionSoft customers pay a mandatory $2,500.00 setup fee which INCLUDES training.

Flaw #3 – InfusionSoft is very time consuming and/or costly
One of the biggest myths about InfusionSoft is that it’s hands on, user friendly and that anyone can use the application. That’s such a LIE! My experience over 10 years working with business owners and InfusionSoft has proven time and time again that one of the worst things a business owner can do is try figure out InfusionSoft instead of focusing on his or her business. The truth of the matter is, few business owners’ InfusionSoft expertise and creativity have lead to a verifiable success story…

Flaw #4 – InfusionSoft is web based
Because InfusionSoft is hosted remotely, and the web application’s overall performance greatly relies on internet node speeds, the InfusionSoft application often slows down to a crawl, leaving users feeling like they’re using a dial-up modem… :(

When I attempted to discuss this during our webinar, the group’s response was not at all surprising, one leader going as far as saying “Daniel, you can’t tell people this kind of stuff. They’ll bail for sure! Then no one here gets paid.”

So there. Maybe I won’t get paid. At least, now you know a few things about InfusionSoft I bet you didn’t know a few minutes ago…
